BBC signs Hathway as national channel distributor in India
Hyderabad, Apr 28 (UNI) BBC Worldwide Global Channels business today announced a major deal with Hathway Cable and Datacom Private Limited, one of the largest Multi-System Operators in India.
BBC Entertainment and CBeebies, which form part of the BBC's Global Channels portfolio, would now be available across 28 cities in India through the Hathway distribution network, according to a release here.
The deal would also enhance the presence of the widely distributed BBC World News, the 24-hour international news and information channel currently available in over 15 million homes.
In addition to this, CBeebies, available in both English and Hindi, with its interactive and trusted content, would offer pre-schoolers to learn about and enjoy the world around them.
