Attitude and mindset of users imp criteria: survey
Mumbai, Apr 28 (UNI) A survey carried out by a firm in Hong Kong has revealed that attitude and mindset of users are a far more important criteria than either gender or age in mobile internet usage.
The survey was carried out by London-based market research firm Acacia Avenue for Hong Kong based Buongiorno, regarding internet usage criteria of cell phone users.
The qualitative test was carried out among people in the age group 18-34 years, using a combination of ethnographic approaches like in-home interviews, personal opinions of consumers, diary keeping and the 'torture test', where browsing PC was banned for five days to test the true potential of the mobile, stated a release.
According to the survey, due to advancement in technology, there is a noticeable shift in downloading trends. Downloading of ringtones and wallpapers have given way to entertaining and intelligent content.
Flexibility and mobility has also enabled the users to opt for mobile internet vis-a-vis PC browsing, the survey said.
