Air India to play Ferroviara F C, Brazil in final

Kannur, Apr 28 (UNI) Air India, Mumbai beat Sporting Clube De, Goa by a solitary goal in the second E K Nayanar Memorial Gold Cup Football tournament here today.

Air India entered the finals to clash with Ferroviara F C, Brazil, on Wednesday.

The all important goal was scored by the Nigerian player, Bashiru M Abas, in the 21st minute, striking from a close range, after getting a back pass from midfielder Paresh Shivalkar.

Air India's captain Nepolean Singh bagged the man of the match award.

Goa, who looked disorganised in the first half, found its rhythym in the second half. Viera Fernade's header in the 61st minute gone too wide.
