Temperatures fall in HP
Shimla, Apr 27 (UNI) Temperatures across Himachal Pradesh fell by a few degrees, today following presence of thin layer of clouds over the state since this morning, the Met office said.
The minimum temperature at Shimla town almost remained stationary at 16.1 degrees Celsius as against 15.9 degrees the Met office told UNI here.
The Met office said the minimum temperature at Kalpa in Kinnuar fell by almost two degrees to stand at 2.7 degrees, while it stood at 11.2 degrees Celsius at Bhuntar town.
The minimum at Sundernagar recorded a night temperature to 15.1, against 14.1 degrees Celsius recorded yesterday.
Una town recorded a night temperature of 14.7 followed by 27.5 at Nahan and 16.3 degrees at Mandi, the Met office said.
The maximum temperature at Shimla town was 25.2 degrees, while Bhuntar recorded a day temperature of 29 as against 30 degree Celsius recorded yesterday.
Thin clouds are prevailing over the tribal districts of Kinnuar, Lahaul Spiti, Chamba and Kullu besides Shimla and other adjoining areas due to the presence of weak western disturbance.
However, by the evening a thick layer of clouds engulfed sky over the state capital, reducing visibility in the town.
