Posh sparks pregnancy rumours with champagne snub

London, Apr 27 : English pop singer Victoria Beckham has sparked rumours that she is expecting her fourth child with husband David Beckham, by shunning champagne and having only soft drinks at her birthday bash last week.

The guests at the star-studded bash in LA included Tom Cruise, his wife Katie Holmes, and Sir Elton John.

It was noticed that while the guests were busy enjoying the champagne, Posh stayed away from it.

The singer was spotted having only tonic water and pineapple juice at the swanky Via Veneto eatery and it got tongues wagging even more among the party-goers.

"Victoria likes to party with the best of them, especially on her birthday. So a champagne flute is no stranger to her hand," News of the World quoted a guest as saying.

"But she didn't touch a drop, which leaves you wondering whether she's already expecting her fourth child," the guest added.

David had recently told a US TV chat show that he and Victoria wanted another brother or sister for their three young children, now that the Spice Girls tour has finished.

"We're working on it. We're very family orientated, so we've always wanted a big family, which was weird because when we first got together we never even discussed how many children we wanted," he said.

"But it's worked out that we want a big family and we love kids so it's worked out perfect," he added.

The couple, who have been married for nearly nine years, are already parents to three sons - Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, five, and Cruz, three.
