Katni, MP, Apr 27 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, who is on a 'Discover India' tour, today accepted that the ''voices'' of crores of poor tribals living in India's faraway and rural regions were not reaching Delhi.

''I have realised that there are two Indias in our country. One is in cities like Delhi and the other in faraway rural regions,'' he said while addressing a public meeting in this district's Khitauli village this evening.

Pointing out that residents of Delhi and other cities had facilities of education, employment and wealth, the Amethi MP added that such basic facilities were lacking in tribal, dalit and backward areas.

''The Centre's Congress-led government has done a lot of work in the interest of the poor, dalits and tribals over the past four years. Madhya Pradesh's poor and tribals are not receiving the benefits of centrally-sponsored schemes. Below Poverty Line cards are not being issued despite rounds of government offices,'' he alleged.

Mr Gandhi later left by helicopter for Hoshangabad district's Aabidpura village where he interacted with tribals and then left by road for Itarsi where he would spend the night.
