Washington, Apr 27 : Sir Paul McCartney is all set to release a coffee table book in honour of his beloved first wife Linda.
The former Beatle is said to have met with London publishers about the project earlier this week.
In the book, McCartney will "share lots of intimate moments" of his life with the photographer, singer and animal rights activist.
The tome will be released to mark the 10th anniversary of Linda's death.
She had passed away after losing her battle with breast cancer in 1998.
Writing the book is believed to be therapeutic for McCartney, who has just been through a bitter divorce battle with second wife Heather Mills last month (Mar08), in which he had to pay 48.6 million dollars as settlement.
"Times have been hard for him recently with the divorce from Heather. He's delighted he can focus his mind on something else. He sees this as a special tribute to Linda's memory," Contactmusic quoted a close pal of the singer as saying.
The news about the book was revealed after the recent opening of an exhibition of Linda's photos at the James Hyman Gallery in London.
