INOX group marks foray in NCR with multiplex in Faridabad

New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) After marking their presence in the tinsel town of Mumbai, more and more multiplex chains in the country are making a foray in the entertainment space in the National capital region in a bid to cash in on the huge frenzy for Bollywood among the 'star-struck' Delhiites.

After Fun cinemas, Movie Times cinemas and Adlabs, the latest to make a foray in NCR is the INOX Group, the second largest multiplex chain in India, with the setting up of a multiplex in the neighbouring town of Faridabad.

Beginning April 25, the INOX group has opened doors to its Faridabad multiplex, located at the 5 lakh sq ft Crown Interiorz mall on Delhi Mathura highway, The first of its kind, the four screen multiplex has a capacity of 1108 seats and is the largest in Faridabad.

INOX has traversed its own path by bringing in a professional and service oriented approach to the cinema exhibition sector. Currently, INOX operates 23 multiplexes and 80 screens in 18 cities making it the only national multiplex chain. INOX was also chosen post a nationwide tender to design, construct and operate the prestigious multiplex in Goa that hosts the International Film Festival of India.

The Launch of a multiplex by INOX comes a couple of months after the Adlabs established its multiplexes in various part of the city.
