India Infoline net up 8.46% to Rs 17.42 cr

New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) Financial services provider, India Infoline Ltd today said its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 increased 8.46 per cent to Rs 17.42 crore compared to Rs 16.06 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Its total income has increased marginally to Rs 222.40 crore for the fourth quarter from Rs 220.39 in the same quarter last year.

The results for the year ended March 31, 2008 showed a net profit of Rs 128.68 crore compared to Rs 52.12 crore last year, an increase of 146.89 per cent.

Its total income has increased 134.53 per cent to Rs 672.44 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 286.71 crore last year.

The consolidated results for the fourth quarter saw a net profit of Rs 65.88 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 24.61 crore in the same quarter last year.

Total income has increased to Rs 384.21 crore for the fourth quarter from Rs 143.57 crore in the same quarter last year.

The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 159.87 crore for FY08 as compared to Rs 75.61 crore last fiscal.

Total Income has increased to Rs 1023.58 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 425.72 crore last year.

The company is engaged in the businesses of equities broking, wealth advisory services and portfolio management services.
