Harbhajan slaps Sreesanth, apologises

Mohali, April 25 (UNI) Mumbai Indians skipper Harbhajan Singh lost the match and his temper in the DLF Indian Premier League at the PCA Stadium here tonight.

After Kings XI Punjab defeated Mumbai Indians and customary hand shake was going on, Harbhajan Singh allegedly slapped Sreesanth. The players from both sides immediately intervened and separated them.

Kings XI Punjab coach Tom Moody and captain Yuvraj Singh condemned the incident. However, non of them was willing to narrate the incident. Addressing a press conference after the match, Moody and Yuvraj said, ''Harbhajan later went to dressing room of Kings XI Punjab and apologised for his behaviour. Harbhajan and Sreesanth were together in the dressing room for quite some time.'' It is learnt that Sreesanth and Harbhajan exchanged some hot words after dismissal of the latter.

Meanwhile, Moody and Yuvraj were happy that they had won their first match out of three match they played. ''It was possible due to teams work,'' they told newsmen.
