Essar oil registers net loss of Rs 8.48 cr for Q4

New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) Essar Oil Ltd today said it has registered a net loss of Rs 8.48 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 compared to net profit of Rs 99 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year.

Its total income has decreased to Rs 49.07 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 268.17 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

For the year ended March 31, 2008, the Company has posted a net loss of Rs 41.65 crore compared to net loss of Rs 67.49 crore last fiscal.

Its total income has increased to Rs 576.79 crore for FY08 from Rs 484.37 crore last fiscal.
