Kuala Lumpur, Apr 26 : Chennai-based Raj TV will soon link up with Malaysian Astro All Asia Networks Plc (Astro) to air its programmes in Malaysia. Most of the Indians living in Malaysia are Tamilians.
It was likely that the channel would go on air later this year, once the two parties had ironed out technical details and approval had come through, said Raj TV director M. Ravindran.
Started as a network in 1994 to provide family entertainment, the fast-growing regional broadcaster plans to enter the Malaysian market with the same concept. "We will be targeting the family segment," The Staronline quoted Ravindran as saying over phone from Chennai.
