Body of girl child recovered
Dharamshala, Apr 26 (UNI) Kangra police today recovered the body of a three-and-a-half year old girl child from a khud at Margoti Machyal village in this district.
The decesead was missing since April 23 when she had gone to have a religious feast at village Dola Goan along with her uncle.
Mr P S Thakur, Additional District police Chief Kangra District, today said that Akruti, resident of village Kadiyara Rajol, had gone along with her 32-year-old deaf and dumb uncle Harnam on April 23 to village Dola Goan to have religious feast. The duo were missing eversince. Harnam was recovered in an injured condition near Machiyal on April 24.
Being deaf and dumb, he could not express himself before the police, Mr Thakur said.
He said additional police force was deployed in the area to trace out Akruti. He said the body of the girl child was recovered this evening from the Machayal Khud.
