Truck Utsav to give fillip to small truck owners

Chennai, Apr 25 (UNI) Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited (STFC), one of the largest asset financing NBFCs, continued it's growing commitment to the Small Truck Owners fraternity by launching a one-of-its kind 'Truck Utsav' at the Chennai Trade Centre here today.

'Truck Utsav' was an event specially designed for the small truck owners and their families to provide them an opportunity to meet in a B2B [Business to Business] and B2C [Business to Customer] platform.

Through this mega event, STFC plans to reach out to thousands of truckers and their families, provide them with education, business counselling and create awareness on products related to the road transport industry along with entertainment.

Nearly 7,000 truck owners attended the event. The entire event was planned in a festive atmosphere, in which companies allied to the trucking industry like tyre manufacturers, oil, lubricants and insurance companies participated. Also, small truck owners and their families were provided the benefits of a free medical check up, organized with the help of Rotary Club of Madras South, and an AIDS Awareness programme in association with Yes Bank.
