Targus Technologies targets Rs 200 cr turnover

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) System and network integrator firm Targus Technologies today said it is targeting a turnover of Rs 200 crore and plans to expand its footprint across the country.

''Targus Technologies is looking to touch a turnover of Rs 200 crore in the current financial year 2008-09, from Rs 120 crore in 2007-08, and also on increasing the headcount to 400,'' company Director Balwinder Singh said.

It has also shifted its head office to Gurgaon as well as opened a new branch office in Mumbai. During the year, the company has also added clients like Whirlpool, Vodafone, CNBC, DIT, WSP etc.

''We have emerged as one of the largest IT infrastructure solution providers supporting over 700 clients from all verticals, spread across the country and beyond. We are also preparing to become Silver partners of Cisco and be one of the Top 10 Network Integrators across India,'' Mr Singh said.

The firm is also planning to set up service support offices in three more cities in the second phase to cater to the ever expanding customer base.

Besides the existing facilities at Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, and Pune, the new offices will be set up in Chennai, Bangalore and Jaipur.

It also plans to open an office in Singapore this year.
