Bangalore, Apr 25: Air hostess training school Flying Cats, today announced its strategic technical collaboration with UK-based Active Solutions Consulting Group (ASCG) to ensure quality education to its students.
Announcing the technical tie-up here last night, CEO Aditi Srivastava said the partnership would bring about an unique training experience on the lines of international training pattern to the students of Flying Cats.
After the success of offering University Diploma in collaboration with Annamalai University, the school had introduced BBA in Aviation, Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Both, the Degree and Diploma, were approved by Distance Education Council (DEC) of the Union Government.
The Union Government had made it mandatory that only students passing out of DEC-approved programmes could apply for government jobs.
Graduation was also a pre-requisite for applying as Cabin Crew with International Airlines and any ground handling jobs in Domestic Airlines.
''Now, students, instead of doing normal graduation, can do graduation in management beside learning skills and get groomed for service industry'' she said.
She said the students of Flying cats had been placed with Swiss Air,Qatar Airways, Air Slovakia, Aerofloat, Indian Airlines, Jet Airlines, Kingfisher, Indigo, Paramount, Hyatt, Le Meridian, Hilton, Sherator and Oberoi.
