Bahrain, India to sign Job Security Package
Kochi, Apr 25 (UNI) A nine-member team from Bahrain, led by Labour Minister Majeed Bin Muhsin Al Alawi, arrived at the Kochi International Airport here today on its way to Kumarakam to sign the Job Security Package for the Non-Resident Keralites in Bahrain tomorrow.
Mr Alawi said the Keralites in Bahrain would be immensely happy and really optimistic on this initiative.
The Indian delegates, led by Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi and CIAL Director Yousef Ali, welcomed the Bahrain delegates at the airport.
The ministers and delegates of both the countries held a discussion to finalise the pact in a hotel near the airport.
Talking to newspersons after the meeting, Minister Vayalar Ravi said India was desirous to get the pact inked.
However, he refused to disclose the details of the package.
