Pakistan tests long-range ballistic missile
Undisclosed Location, Pakistan, April 19, 2008 : Pakistan successfully test fired a long-range, nuclear-capable ballistic missile on April 19. This was the first missile test under the new government which was installed last month. According to the Pakistani military the missile Hatf-VI, Shaheen-2 has a range of 2000 km and can carry both nuclear and conventional warheads.
Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani watched the test and congratulated engineers and scientists for achieving an important milestone.
