Jammu, Apr 24 (UNI) A three-tier security cover has been put in place for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is scheduled to arrive here on a two-day official visit of Jammu region tomorrow.

Sources said tight security arrangements have been made prior to the visit of Dr Singh as a high level team of National Security Guards (NSG) had already arrived here to take over the security venues.

''Over fifty NSG top ranked commandos arrived here and have been divided into four teams to take care of venues at Akhnoor, Katra and Kishtwar,'' sources told UNI.

However, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have also made all security arrangements for the visit of the Prime Minister, sources said.

''Security arrangements have been made keeping in mind no inconvenience to the people during the Prime Minister's visit as Dr Singh will mostly use chopper during his visit, the roads will not be closed for traffic,'' police sources said.

The areas where Dr Singh will visit during his two-day stay have been sanitised by various security agencies.

''Dr Singh will reach Jammu Airport around 1330 hrs tomorrow and will fly to Akhnoor to inaugurate newly constructed bridge over river Chenab and later address a public meeting at 1400 hrs'' official sources said asserting, ''From Akhnoor, the Prime Minister will fly to Katra where he will address first convocation of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) University and later in the evening and he will have a night stay at Raj Bhawan.'' Meanwhile Dr Singh will inaugurate Dul Hasti project at Kishtwar on April 26 followed by a public meeting addressed by him and then fly back to the Capital in the evening, official sources said.
