Mercury rising in MP, 44 C in Khajuraho
Bhopal, Apr 24 (UNI) Daily life has been affected by rising temperature in Madhya Pradesh where tourists are having a hard time with the hot winds at the world-renowned tourist destination Khajuraho that was the state's hottest at 44.2 degrees Celsius along with Rajgarh and Sidhi today.
As Khajuraho is located in drought-hit Bundelkhand, hoteliers are having to make herculean efforts to arrange for water.
The state capital recorded 42.2 C, the season's hottest thus far, a Regional Meteorological Centre official said.
