Bangalore, Apr 24(UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) President Mayawati today appealed to voters of Karnataka to vote her party to power so that it can usher in a new social order based on equality, in the interest of the country.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister made this appeal in a 20-page Concept paper called 'Appeal- to the voters of Karnataka', released here by the party's national General Secretary Veersingh as part of the campaigning for next month's assembly polls.

''The principles of BSP are not against any caste or creed and it only wants to change the unequal social order based on age-old caste system in the county,'' she said.

BSP is the only party in the country, whose principals and policies and its style of functioning suit very much the interests of the people belonging to all sections of society, she said.

''In persuance of this policy, my government in Uttar Pradesh has taken historical intiatives to provide the benefits of reservation to the poor and needy belonging to all castes and the implementation of this new system has already been taken up,'' she said.

'' It is for this reason that our party, unlike other parties does not release any tempting election manifestos but only issues appeals to the people and those who vote to ensure their support for BSP to fulfill its remaining commmitments,'' she said.
