Kidwai, Hooda condole demise of Babu Parmanand
Chandigarh, Apr 24 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda have condoled the death of former state Governor Babu Parmanand at Jammu today.
In a personal condolence message sent to Parmanand's wife Sudesh Kumari, Dr Kidwai said Babu Parmanand was known to be a kindhearted person who fought for the cause of poor and downtrodden people throughout his life.
He said Babu Parmanand would always be remembered for his outstanding services for the welfare of the people of Haryana where he had served as Governor. The void created by his death can never be filled, the Governor said.
Condoling the death, Mr Hooda described Babu Parmanand as a great social worker who worked in different capacities and held important positions in Jammu and Kashmir.
Both Dr Kidwai and Mr Hooda conveyed their heart-felt condolences on their behalf and on behalf of people of Haryana to members of the bereaved family. They prayed for peace to the departed soul.
