Heat in parts of AP persist
Hyderabad, Apr 24 (UNI) Mercury soared in parts of Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours as dry weather prevailed across the state.
The maximum temperature was significantly above normal at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and above normal at a few places over Rayalaseema, the Weather office here said.
The highest maximum temperature of 43 deg Celsius was recorded at Nizamabad.
The maximum temperatures significantly fell at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little over Telangana and Rayalaseema.
Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema in the next 48 hours.
