Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) Pandemonium prevailed in the Maharashtra Assembly when Shiv Sena and BJP members, wearing black caps and T-shirts, raised slogans that 'saat bara kora kara' (abolish saat bara document) of farmers.
The members also raised slogans denouncing the government and demanded loan waiver.
Leader of the Opposition Ramdas Kadam and others raised the issue, saying Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar had made the statement that no more loan waiver was possible for the farmers, in this situation, the state government should come forward for the rescue of the farmers.
Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil said the state government would make its stand clear only after the Central government announces its stand on the issue.
