'Suspicious' looking object falls in Punjab town

Sangrur, Apr 23 (UNI) An unidentified flying object (UFO) is believed to have fallen near the sub divisional town of Sunam this afternoon, official sources here said.

Senior officers have rushed to the spot and have intimated the concereneed authorities at Chandigarh. The residents of the area reported the matter to the police and the area where it has fallen has been cordoned off.

A 'suspicious' looking object had fallen in the fields near Hothian village in the district in August last year. However after studies were conducted on the object, scientists ruled that it was not an object from outter space as was intially suspected.
