Kullu, Apr 23 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government has sanctioned a sum of Rs 10.25 crore on the widening and contruction of drains and tarring of 38 km long National Highway between Kullu and Manali, a senior government official today said.
Observing that the maintenance of road between tourist resorts was the priority of the government, he said asum of another Rs 4.6 crore has been sanctioned for the renovation of the National Highway 21 stretch from Bhuntar up to Manali.
The official said the government has also invited tenders for the Manali-Kullu left bank road, besides reconstructing and maintain the Palchan-Solang Nallah link road.
In all, a sum of Rs 126.52 crore has been sanctioned for this district under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY), he added.
