Mumbai, Apr 23: Plans are afoot to make a sequel of Bhojpuri film ''Gabbar Singh'', produced and directed by Mahesh Pandey.
Inspired by Ramesh Sippy's all-time Bollywood hit 'Sholay', ''Gabbar Singh'' was jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor and Mahesh Pandey, with Ravi Kishan playing the role of legendary baddie Gabbar Singh. Veteran actor Jeetendra played the role of Thakur and the roles of Jai-Veeru duo were played by Sikandar Kharbanda and Mahesh Pandey, respectively. The film, according to trade reports, is running well in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, where it has already completed 100 days. Mahesh Pandey confirmed that he is working on sequel of the film. The sequel will be also a multi-starrer film, he said, but refused to divulge any further details.
