New judge of Madras HC sworn in
Chennai, Apr 23 (UNI) Justice M Sathyanarayanan was today sworn in as an Additional Judge of the Madras High Court.
High Court Chief Justice A P Shah administered the oath of office to the new judge.
Advocate General Masilamani, Madras High Court Advocates Association President Paul Kanagaraj, Tamil Nadu-Puduchery Bar Council Chairman Chandramohan and Bar Association President T V Ramanujum were present on the occasion.
With Justice Sathyanarayanan being sworn in, the strength of judges in the High Court increased to 45 as against the total strength of 49.
