Mercury soars in AP, dry weather in 3 regions
Hyderabad, Apr 23 (UNI) Mercury soared in different parts of Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours as dry weather prevailed in all the three regions of the state.
The maximum temperature was significantly above normal at a few places over Telangana and at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema, according to the Indian Meteorology Department.
The highest maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius was recorded at Hanumakonda, Nizamabad, Rentachintala and Tirupati Airport.
Isolated rainfall or thundershowers were likely to occur over Rayalaseema.
Mainly dry weather was likely to prevail over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. There would be no significant change in the weather condition for the next two days, the Met Dept said.
Hyderabad would mainly have a clear sky. The maximum temperature was likely to be around 41 degree Celsius.
