Former diplomat robbed
New Delhi, Apr 23 (UNI) A former cabinet secretary was allegedly robbed of Rs 7,000 along with other belongings by an undentified man at his Vasant Vihar residence.
According to the police, Surendra Singh, cabinet secretary during 1994-96, was approached by a man claiming to be a property dealer on Monday afternoon to discuss some property matter.
After discussions, as soon as he went inside for some work the man, who is yet to be identified, fled with his purse, containing Rs 7,000, driving licence and credit cards and his mobile phone.
A case has been registered and investigation was on, police added.
