Appreciating rupee is a temporary phenomenon: FM
Coimbatore, Apr 20, 2008: Innaugurating a textile park in Coimbatore, India's finance minister, P. Chidambaram said on April 19 that the appreciating rupee was only a temporary phenomenon.
In the past week the rupee has moved in a range of 39.89-40.01, and the central bank has repeatedly stepped in to stem the currency's rise.
