Kate Bosworth says Sydney is 'second home'

Melbourne, Apr 21 : Sydney might be a tourist attraction for everyone around the world, but for actress Kate Bosworth the Aussie destination is a 'second home'.

The 25-year-old actress was in Sydney last month to play bridesmaid for her best friend and former assistant Jacqui Louez, and has now revealed that she feels so "normal" when she comes to the Harbour City that she just can't get enough of it.

In fact, the Hollywood beauty is planning to return this month to do a magazine fashion shoot and to relax on the beach.

"I just love Sydney. I really do think of it as a second home, even though it's so far away. I think maybe that's why I love it so much: it's so far away that it just feels like you step back into some sort of normality," The Daily Telegraph, quoted Bosworth, as saying. She added: "I really can't describe it, but I immediately felt at home. I suppose it was a time in my life that was one of my happiest (on her first visit in 2005). It was that kind of magic-bubble moment of stepping into adulthood where everything seems so possible and exciting."

The 'Superman Returns' was happy that despite her celebrity status, the locals did not bother her much, even after recognising her.

"I just feel immediately at home when I'm in Australia. I love the casualness of it and people not taking things too seriously. I think that's what I loved most: people don't care who you are. They're just too down-to-earth to be impressed by an actor," she said.
