Kolkata, Apr 21: Shah Rukh Khan has said he loves to win and his Kolkata Knight Riders will "teach others how to believe in their dreams and win". "I love winning - whether it's IPL matches or films or a game of carom with my kids or the entire world. I believe my victory is God's assurance that I really worked hard,'' the Bollywood's King Khan said at a programme last night.

Just few hours after Knight Riders defeated Deccan Chargers in their second IPL tie at the Eden Gardens, Shah Rukh was bubbling with energy and optimism. "The Kolkata Knight Riders are here to teach the world how to believe and win a dream that no one else dares to do. Discipline, dedication and dignity are the three powers that are combined at every stroke of our bat and every throw of our ball,'' he said. He said he was not at all nervous, but felt bad when Sourav's team was struggling to save the match before coming out with flying colours. ''Kolkata Knight Riders is my dream personified. I always wanted to be a cricketer. Now it's through my team that I am fulfilling my dream...I was not nervous, but I felt bad when wickets started falling,'' he said.

SRK's possessiveness towards Kolkata Knight Riders

Shah Rukh said he was possessive about his team and that was why he was worried throughout about their comfort. Playing cricket at Eden Gardens was a 'fantastic' experience.

''It's their(spectators) overwhelming support that did not let the tough pitch and power failure come in the way of the victory of the Knight Riders,'' he said. In reply to a question on the likely profits that he might be earning out of his investment on Knight Riders, Shah Rukh said that he looked only after the entertainment part, while his business partner Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta were taking care of administration. ''The latter will be the right persons to comment on the profit issue,'' he added.
