Beijing, Apr 21 (UNI) Ace Indian shooter Gagan Narang secured the fifth position in the finals of the men's three position event on the last day of the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF) World Cup here.
Gagan qualified for the men's three-position finals with a score of 1165 (Prone 394, Standing 385, Kneeling 386) yesterday.
He shot an impressive 97.5 in the finals but failed to secure a podium finish and had to settle for the fifth spot with a total score of 1262.5.
The gold went to Jesselin Henry of France who had a score of 1268.8 (1173+95.8).
