Hyderabad, Apr 20 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh intelligence agency today alerted the state police about 'suicide squads' prepared by the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) to create panic during its Maha Pradarshan (big rally) tomorrow.
The MPRS has been demanding the government to categorise the Scheduled Castes (SC) reservation.
According to the sources here, the intelligence authorities had informed the police that the MRPS was planning to create law and order problem by encouraging the 'suicide squads', which were already formed by the samithi, for self immolation during the rally.
The sources said the suicide squads were planning to resort to self-immolation by pouring petrol on themselves near the state Assembly or Secretariat when the rally reaches the spots.
Earlier, the MRPS Founder President Manda Krishna Madiga told mediapersons that the High Court has given permission to the MRPS to organise the Big rally from Indira Park to state Assembly tomorrow. The rally would go on peacefully without creating law and order problem, he added.
