Bhopal, Apr 20 (UNI) In a bid to provide wheat at Rs 3 per kg under Annapurna Scheme of Madhya Pradesh government, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that there is a need of procuring maximum wheat at support price.
Interacting with all the commissioners, district presidents and officers concerned through vedeo conferencing, Mr Chouhan said that he would inspect wheat purchase in the agricultural produce markets during his tours.
He also directed the commissioners and district presidents to do the same.
''If complaints are received regarding parameters not being followed in wheat purchase then cases will registered,'' he said.
After the formal launch of the Annapurna Scheme here and at Indore on April 26, foodgrain at cheaper rates would be made available to every district headquarters on different dates through garib sammelans.
