Arms, explosives recovered in north Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 20 (UNI) Troops today recovered grenade, some arms and one kg explosive from the Jawahar tunnel area on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway in north Kashmir.
A defence ministry spokesman said the troops of 162 Infantry Battalion recovered one UBGL, one Rifle grenade, one AK magazine and 17 rounds of AK ammunitions from the Jawahar tunnel area.
He said the troops of 14 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and the Jammu and Kashmir police, during a search operation at Bapura in Bandipora recovered one kg explosive, one grenade and four UBGL grenades.
However, no one was arrested, he said.
