Pakistan successfully test fires Shaheen-2 ballistic missile
Islamabad, Apr 19 (UNI) Pakistan today successfully test fired a nuclear-capable surface-to-surface ballistic missile, having a range of 2000 km.
The Hataf-6 Shaheen-2 missile was launched from an undisclosed location and could carry nuclear as well as conventional weapons.
Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Tariq Majeed and Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar witnessed the missile test.
President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani have congratulated the missile scientists for successful test of the Hataf-6 Shaheen-2 ballistic missile.
