Father arrested for raping foster daughter
Shillong, Apr 19 (UNI) In a shocking incident a father was arrested in Meghalaya for allegedly raping his step-daughter yesterday, police said today.
Ribren Nongrum (35), the accused was arrested after the villagers of Nongdaneng under East Khasi Hills District lodged an FIR against Nongrum for allegedly raping his step-daughter, who is physically handicapped.
Meanwhile, the local police have registered a case against the erring father.
