We can replicate Team India's success in T20 World Cup: Kaif

New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) Shrugging off suggestions that his team is the weakest in the tournament, Rajasthan Royals batsman Mohammad Kaif today said,''this team can do wonder like what Team India did in T20 World Cup. '' ''T20 is small game. Teams who perform good on any particular day can win the match,'' Kaif told mediapersons here adding, ''Dhoni's team in the T20 World cup was not among the favourites but they had won the tournament so can we.'' Replying to a question that this tournament will be ideal platform for him to regain his place in Team India, the right-handed batsman said he is looking forward to making a mark in the IPL.

''Last season in the domestic cricket was nice for me. I have a lot of runs in my kitty. Uttar Pradesh team has played the finals of Ranji Trophy under my captaincy so I am pretty confident of bouncing back,'' Kaif said.

Meanwhile, the stylish batsman, who generally known for his sound technique instead of hitting sixes and fours, said he is looking forward to hit sixes and fours in the IPL if the situation demands.

''In any format of the game 30-runs on 20 balls is good but if situation demands for big hits I am capable of doing that also,'' he said.

Praising his Rajasthan Royals captain and legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne, Kaif said his prescence in the team will make a big difference in the tournament.

''Warne is a great guy, a legend. He has plenty to offer and we are trying to learn from him as much as possible,'' adding,''junior players, mainly those who dont have international exposure till now are learning a lot.'' However, Kaif denied to name any specific team or any specific bowler he is looking forward to play against.

''Each and every team in the fray is quite competitive and balanced. Any team can won the tournament. All the games are very important so the team who can perform consistently good will won the tournament,'' he said.
