TDP to spell out its stand on Telangana after report:Naidu
Hyderabad, Apr 17 (UNI) Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandra Babu Naidu today said the TDP would speak on the Telangana issue only after a five-member committee appointed by the party submits its report.
Talking to newspersons here, he claimed that he was not against Telangana, as otherwise the party would not have appointed the committee to review the situation and to hear people's views.
The party would act as per the recommendations of the committee, he added.
Mr Naidu admitted that economic reforms implemented during his tenure had not helped the common people and it benefitted only a few sections of society.
He claimed that he had initiated steps to enhance the prospects of Information Technology during the TDP rule to generate employment in the state.
