Suzlon Energy bags order for wind farm projects
New Delhi, Apr 18: World's fifth-largest wind turbines maker Suzlon Energy today said its subsidiary has secured orders totalling 200 MW of capacity for wind farm projects in China.
The company said in a statement that the first order is from Ao Lu Jia New Energy Development Ltd for 148.5 MW capacity wind turbine through 99 units of the S82 1.5 MW turbines, to be delivered during the Q2FY09. The second order is from Beifang Longyuan (North Union) for 50 MW capacity wind turbine through 40 units of the S64 1.25 MW turbines, to be delivered in the first quarter of FY10.
