Jalandhar, Apr 18 (UNI) The Lok Bhallai Party (LBP) has decided to observe one-day hunger strike here on May 15 against the Punjab government's callous attitude in providing employment to the youth.
Talking to media persons here today, LBP president Balwant Singh Ramoowalia said that besides hunger strike on May 15, party would also organise district-level dharnas on April 30 against the policies of the state government in not providing employment to the youth. He said that besides, thousands of young men, nearly 500 girls were living a life of slaves on Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Ukraine and other countries. The state DGP should himself look into such cases involving Punjabi women, he added.
