Night temperatures rise in HP after dry weather

Shimla, Apr 18 (UNI) Night temperatures rose across Himachal Pradesh today following dry weather which would the met office said.

The minimum temperature in Shimla rose by four degrees to stand at 11.8 degree Celsius compared to 7.3 degrees Celsius recorded yesterday, while the night temperatures at Sundernagar, Bhuntar and Kalpa rose to 10.9, 8.2 and 1.9 degrees Celsius respectively.

The met office said the night temperature in the tourist resort of Dharamsala rose to 13.7 degrees compared to 10.3 degrees recorded yesterday.

Mandi and Una towns also recorded a rise in day temperature which stood at 9.6 degree Celsius.

The day temperature in the state capital rose by a degree to 21.9 as against 20.4 degree Celsius recorded yesterday, while it stood at 31.9 at Bhuntar, 14.6 at Kalpa, 27.4 at Dharamshala and surged to 34.6 degrees at Una town.

The met office has predicted mainly dry weather in the state during the next 24 hrs.
