Kate Hudson credits Goldie Hawn for healthy attitude towards sex

Washington, April 18 : Actress Kate Hudson has credited her mother Goldie Hawn for giving her a healthy outlook towards sex and relationships.

The Almost Famous star insisted that her parents' honesty and openness helped her while growing up.

Hudson, who was raised by Hawn and her longterm partner Kurt Russell, said that she used to have candid chats with her parents about sex.

The actress said that she is convinced the fact she was able to talk frankly to the pair about intimate issues gave her a more balanced viewpoint on all of her adult romances.

"She (Hawn) never treated me like a child and I really respected her for that," Contactmusic quoted hre, as saying.

"They always said, 'Sex is the best thing in the world. When you start having it you're going to love it. But it's that much better when you love someone, so just remember that.'

"She's great - she knows when to be and not to be a mother," she added.
