Kolkata, Apr 18 (UNI) Calcutta High Court today heard the perjury application filed by former BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya on July 20, 2007 against Prof Ratnakar Shetty, Sharad Pawar, Sashank Manohar, Chirau Amin, Niranjan Shah and N Srinivasan.

Justice Nadira Patheriya heard the case.

Mr Dalmiya's counsel Satyabrata Mukherjee produced all relevant documents to show that the statement was made on oath and forged documents were produced in evidence of Mr Dalmiya's expulsion case by claiming that the Rule 38, which was amended in September 2000 was registered by the registrar on March 22, 2007.

Mr Mukherjee by showing the subsequent records of the Registrar of Societies Tamil Nadu satisfied the court that the BCCI's claims were false along with the claim of producing certified copy.

The observations of Justice Indira Banerjee was also shown where Justice Banerjee in July 20, 2007 stated that no registration was claimed by BCCI nor the documents produced were certified copies.

The judgment will be delivered later.
