Azad's claim of J
Jammu, Apr 18 (UNI) Terming Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad's claim that the situation in the state was near normal as false and misleading, the BJP today called it a strategy to divert public attention from the basic issues of the state.
''The Congress has failed to control their coalition partners with whom they are enjoying the power and simultaneously taking anti-national stands,'' BJP state spokesperson Ramesh Arora said in a statement here.
It is unfortunate that the Congress tolerating slogans like demilitarisation. They are favouring Kashmir centric politics over the nation's interest.
''The government has failed to resolve the ongoing differences between coalition partners here. We reiterate our demand of dissolution of government,'' Mr Arora alleged asserting, People Democratic Party patron ''Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and his daughter Mehbooba Mufti should be booked for indulging in ant-national activities and raising irresponsible demands of joint control, joint currency and safe passage to militants from across the border.'' However, the BJP would submit a memorandum to Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt Gen (Retd) S K Sinha and would demand that the elections should be held under the Governor rule as the present government has miserably failed to discharge its constitutional obligations, the BJP spokesperson said.
