Army jawan commits suicide in Jammu
Jammu, Apr 18 (UNI) An army jawan committed suicide by jumping from a building in a transit camp at Bari Brahmana on city outskirts here, official sources said today.
''The jawan jumped from two storeyed building late last night around 2300 hrs and received multiple injuries in his spinal cord.
He was immediately shifted to the Military Hospital in a critical condition where he succumbed to injuries this morning,'' defence spokesman Lt Col S D Goswami told UNI.
The jawan had been identified as Lance Naik Bhawani Singh, 32, of five Rajput Regiment, resident of Sikhar, Rajasthan.
