UPA govt has no clear Kashmir policy: Chaman Gupta
Jammu, Apr 17 (UNI) Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Chaman Lal Gupta today said the ruling Congress and its allies never had any Kashmir policy since the partition of the country in 1947.
Commenting on the controversial vision being put forth by the ruling and other leaders of the state, Prof Gupta, in a statement here, said, ''As far as Pakistan is concerned, despite some changes in the government there, one should not expect much as that country is always guided by three 'A's -- Allah of fundamentalists, Army and America.'' However, taking serious note of the developments in Jammu and Kashmir and also across the border, Prof Gupta observed that reports about erecting mobile towers by Pakistan along the Indo-Pak border and also the retaining of the infrastructure of crossborder terrorism, including the existence of a large number of training camps, both on the soil of that country and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, clearly indicated the nefarious designs of the only Muslim nuclear-armed nation.
