Tibetans in Nagaland protest for their cause
Kohima, Apr 17 (UNI) The Tibetan and Bhutanese community in Nagaland today kept all their business establishments closed as a token of solidarity with the present situation in Tibet.
Sources in the Tibetan and Bhutanese Welfare Association (TBWA) said the agitation was aimed to express solidarity with the peaceful protests of Tibetans and people around the world for the Tibetan cause.
All the Tibetan businessmen at the famous Hong Kong Market in Dimapur downed their shutters.
The TBWA also called for mass prayers for the victims of Chinese aggression and crackdowns, taking place since the latest uprising in Tibet, sources said.
